Retiring a high level performance horse is rarely as simple as throwing them out in a pasture. These elite athletes need to be eased into retirement and will always be happiest with daily stimulation and interaction. At RHR we offer daily TLC that includes packages for grooming, hand walking, tack walking, longeing, Theraplate, and turn-out. Nutrition plans are designed for each horse’s distinctive requirements and supplements/concentrates can be purchased for the owner and billed monthly. Retired horses are monitored carefully for any sign of distress or disease. Administering simple medications and handling for the farrier is included and horses can be handled for vet procedures such as dentistry and vaccinations, and annual records kept when in grooming or therapy care packages.
